Where Did Marco Rubio And His Wife Visit In India?
The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio and Jeanette Rubio arrived in India on May 23. As per The Hindu, on their first day, they reached Kolkata and visited the famous Mother House. It is the place where Mother Teresa started the Missionaries of Charity in 1950, a group that helps poor and needy people. There, they offered prayers and paid their respects. When you visit, you can pay your respects at her tomb and also learn about her life and the work she did.
After this, they went to Nirmala Shishu Bhavan in Kolkata. Here, the couple spent time with the children and gave them teddy bears. At this place, they spent some time with the children.

Two Must-Visit Tourist Places They Explored
If in India, how can anyone miss visiting the iconic Taj Mahal? As per NDTV, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited the Taj Mahal in Agra with his wife and US Ambassador Sergio Gor during his India trip. He arrived by special flight and explored the monument. The trip also clicked pictures while sitting on the iconic marble bench.
After visiting the Taj Mahal on May 25, they went to Jaipur’s iconic Amer Fort. There, Marco Rubio was welcomed with traditional Rajasthani hospitality and folk performances. The US delegation explored the historic palace complex, known for its Rajput-Mughal architecture, and also learned a lot about its history.
