Online delivery apps have made our lives so easy that we buy everything from clothes to food online. But we have also seen so many blunders happen to people while buying things online. Remember how a man once got soap instead of a mobile phone that he ordered? Well, in a recent similar case, a family in Varanasi ordered paneer biryani from Behrouz on Zomato and found chicken pieces in it.
Varanasi Family Finds Chicken Pieces In Paneer Biryani From Zomato
My friend is in Varanasi with his family during this holy month of Sawan. He had ordered family pack Paneer veg biryani (worth ₹ 1228) from the famous ‘@BehrouzBiryani‘ through @zomato, but they made them eat chicken biryani instead! @deepigoyal

A Twitter user, @AshwiniSahaya, shared a post on his account that narrated an incident faced by his friend’s family. During the holy month of Sawan, his friend ordered paneer biryani from the well-known ‘Behrouz Biryani, but found chicken pieces in it. The parcel also had a veg label on it.
He shared a video of the same on his Twitter account and wrote about how his friend’s family’s religious beliefs were violated because of Zomato and Behrouz. He also mentioned that the family thought the chicken pieces were paneer covered in gram flour and realised it later. The family was about to leave to visit a temple after having their ‘vegetarian meal’.
He expressed his dismay and mentioned that when the family contacted Behrouz, they asked them to contact Zomato. Similarly, Zomato asked them to contact the restaurant.

Always order veg food from only veg food outlets which don’t serve non veg so no chance of such issues

Yes, this is a very serious issue. The person who ordered chicken biryani must be eating paneer biryani because order got switched. Zomato and hotel should be sued hundreds of times the order value for deficiency of service.
