Vir Das is a comedian that hardly anyone who has good taste would dislike. His wit and charm have won many hearts and now, he’s winning more with his kindness. He recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a heartwarming act he did for a senior citizen who was a great admirer of his. According to this post, four months ago a fan commented on a post of his.
The commenter said that she was a great admirer of his wit and it was one of her greatest wishes to see him perform live. The problem was that whenever he performed in her city, she would be unable to book a ticket on account of how fast they sold out. And given that she was a senior citizen and not very tech-savvy, it was hard for her to book tickets quickly enough.
The comment must struck a chord in Vir Das’s heart because he responded by saying that the next time he came to her city, her tickets would be on him. He even tagged someone from his team to ensure this was done. Now, after four months, he posted a pic of him hugging the senior fan at a post-show meet-and-greet. Truly, what a marvellous person!
