Air connectivity between Agartala in Tripura and Bengaluru in Karnataka is about to get stronger with more frequent flights than before. Vistara is all geared up to begin operations on this route very soon. The airline is going to initiate flights between Agartala and Bengaluru in August this year. It is just a wait of only about 2 months for the airline to launch direct flights connecting these two cities in India. Read on for all the details of the airline’s new connectivity route.
Vistara Is Going To Start Flights On This New Route From 1 August 2023
Passengers, you will need to wait till July to fly between Agartala and Bengaluru with this Indian carrier. The airline is all set to begin this new journey from the very first day of August 2023. An official shared the news of this beginning, according to a report by LiveMint. K.C. Meena is the director of Agartala’s Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport and he also shared further details about the operation of Vistara flights between Agartala and Bengaluru.

K.C. Meena shared that the Vistara flight will take off from Bengaluru to reach Agartala directly. The return flight from Agartala to the Karnataka capital will be via Guwahati in Assam. He also talked about how this new connectivity will be helpful for the passengers.
Previously, Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, requested the Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia to operate more flights on the route connecting Agartala and Bengaluru.
Two Airlines Run On This Route Now!
If you have plans to travel between Agartala and Bengaluru by flight in the upcoming 2 months, here is some information about the air connectivity on this route. At the present moment, only Akasa Air and IndiGo operate flights connecting Agartala and Bengaluru. Both these Indian airlines run a total of 3 flights. From 1 August 2023, this route will have one more airline and these new flights will surely be a massive help for passengers. The carrier will bring more options and seat availability for the passengers.
