The White Lotus, Season 1: Four Seasons Resort Maui

Located in Hawaii, Four Seasons Resort Maui was the location for season 1. The beachfront resort lives up to the expectations of living in one of the world’s best tropical destinations. The 16-hectare resort houses 380 guest rooms and luxury suites, three restaurants and three pools, a luxury spa and an art museum.

The property rests on a long public beach of Wailea Coast with nearly all of the rooms, restaurants, and pools facing towards the water. If the location of Four Seasons Resort Maui doesn’t enchant enough, the artwork certainly will. The resort houses more than 2,000 original works by Hawaii-influenced artists. It is also the only resort on the island of Maui to boast both the Forbes Five-Star Award and the AAA Five Diamond Award.

The White Lotus, Season 2: Four Seasons Hotel Taormina – San Domenico Palace

For season 2, the series chose idyllic Sicily as the filming location to capture the magnificent vistas of Italy. The beautiful San Domenico Palace, Taormina, is shown in this instalment of the series.

The hotel is a famous spot among tourists for its 14th-century convent-style architecture and Michelin-starred dining. Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the stay offers views of the dramatic landscapes of Sicily’s east coast, the active Mount Etna volcano and the Greek Theatre. San Domenico Palace is close to the old town, and accessing the historical cities like Modica, Noto, Siracusa and the island of Ortigia is easy.

The charm and beauty of the palace are seen across its 111 guest rooms, suites and speciality suites. Other than the exceptional sea view, some of the suites come with private plunge pools and terraces.

The White Lotus, Season 3: Thailand?

According to Hollywood publications, Deadline and Variety, The White Lotus is slated to head to Thailand for the third season. However, the specific locations haven’t been revealed yet.

But with the first two seasons of the show being filmed at Four Seasons hotels; there are rumours of Four Seasons properties being engaged with the third season as well. The luxury hospitality group houses four properties in the country including Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and Four Seasons Bangkok.
