Dubai’s Global Village is now open for its 25th season and its as grand as ever! This year, being the Silver Jubilee celebrations, guests have a lot to experience and enjoy. Besides, authorities have also taken full precautions to ensure safety of guests. The sprawling outdoor attraction is among the most visited worldwide, with 42,000 guests per day on average and here’s how Global Village is keeping Covid-19 at bay.
Global Village Allots Dedicated Team To Ensure Safety Of Guests
Strict safety precautions are in place and a team is dedicated to keep the premises safe and clean. Guests need to wear masks at all times and maintain a two-metre physical distancing from others. Besides this, any person experiencing symptoms such as fever or cold should refrain from visiting the park. Likewise, elderly guests and those with chronic illness should also avoid stepping out.

Customers will be able to make contactless payments while kids will be given free face masks. All touch points will be sanitized frequently. Valet parking will not be available. Visitors who have taken VIP packages will have access to special paring zones through smart parking gates with online car plate registration. This year’s season is slated to run until April 2021. The ticket prices remain unchanged at AED 15 per person. Besides, this year’s season aims to break over 25 world records.
Global Village Breaks Two Guinness World Records
On 30 October, Global Village broke the Guinness World Records title for the “most videos in a music medley video”. The gig is the biggest virtual rock concert in history.

In addition, a pop group phenomenon Now United wowed guests with a live performance of Come Together. 12 members of this talented group flew in from 12 different countries to perform with their newest member, Nour, from Lebanon. Performers from over 80 countries participated in the record event. The concert was streamed live from the main stage on Global Village’s YouTube channel to allow people from every country and continent to attend the show virtually.

The Global Village recently broke its second Guinness World Record of the year and how. Yep, that’s right! Global village broke the record for having the most LED lights on a car.

What’s more? Well, the winning vehicle boasted 37,676 LED lights all over it, creating a stunning effect, which was meant to break the records. Well, before this too, Global village had managed to break the record for the most videos in a music medley video. On 30 October, musicians from Rockin’1000, the world’s largest rock band took to the stage to celebrate Global Village’s 25th season. The incredible musical spectacular was witnessed by audiences across the globe via the fest’s Youtube channel.
