Actor Amit Sial known for his power-packed performances in Raid, Maharani and Mirzapur, explored the gullies of Delhi’s Afghan Chowk with us on the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein. From noshing on a kebab-filled Afghani platter to dishing tales of his childhood and illustrious career, Amit Sial was a sport through and through. During our conversation with him, he also revealed that he realised his passion for acting during his school days.
Amit Sial Was Passionate About Acting Since His School Days
While gorging on a toothsome platter of Afghani Uzbeki, rich Sheer Yak and Chopaan Kebab at Mazaar Restaurant, Amit Sial recollected his childhood days in Kanpur. The actor revealed that while most people hold their college memories dearly, for him it’s all about his school days. The Kanpur lad, said the city resides in his soul. Amit Sial revealed he was a mischievous child who was also proficient in studies and sports.
He also dabbled quite a bit in extra curricular activities especially dramatics. The Raid 2 actor remembered participating in his school’s annual day events. During his schooling, he realised he was proficient in dramatics. An Amitabh Bachchan fan, Amit Sial remembered imitating the actor for days after watching his film in a theatre. But he never thought he would one day, shift to Mumbai and take up acting as his career. His initial fondness for acting was “superficial” as per the actor. He enjoyed the applause and the process.

The Actor Pursued A Business Degree In The USA
But over time, his love and passion for the craft developed. After his travel to Australia where he honed his craft, Amit Sial became serious about taking it up as his profession. While gorging on the Afghani delicacies, Amit Sial remembered his time in Australia as well where he pursued International Business Relations. “Acting ka swaad pehle se lag gaya,” the actor said. So, he didn’t let go off his love for acting while studying in Australia.
