Welcome Mumbai’s Newest Party Hub, SinCity

An Introduction…

If you’re like us, you’re always on the lookout for the swankiest party joints. While this may not be something new for a lot of Mumbaikars, there are very few places that let you dance your heart out without your feet getting trampled on (you know if you know).  SinCity in Andheri is the city’s latest party haven and it’s exactly what you’d expect it to be: a paradise for all those who like to let their hair down every Friday night.

The Good Stuff

SinCity’s interiors are styled to imprint a classic Bollywood vibe with a finesse of vintage decor. It’s artsy with just the right bit of spunk to it and that’s precisely what we love.

To start your night right, begin with a range of their whizzed out cocktails. Their Passionate Love (Rs 250) has a base of watermelon, topped with basil and kaffir lime and whiff of saffron smoke (yup, it’s truly fancy). If you’re the share-and-care type, get yourself something from their Community Cocktails section (starts from Rs 1,400). From thandai with a heady twist to your classic vodka, you can share these super large concoctions with your entire gang.

Time To Dance

Now that you’re already on a roll, skip those shoes and head to the dance floor. With some of the coolest DJs (including Mr. Aqeel) in the house, there’s not one reason you shouldn’t be painting the town red.

Eat The Night Away

We all heart those party spots in town that not only let your heart run wild but also comfort your stomach with delish food. Don’t worry, SinCity is one of those. They have a vast global menu that you can indulge and totally be spoilt for choice.

From their Indian fusion menu, definitely try the Bombay Vada Melba Toast (Rs 300). Think crispy potato patty that’s then laid on Melba toast with a generous garnish of mirchi ka thecha. They have a winner in their Kalimirchi Prawns Bao (Rs 450) that sounds as good as it reads (probably, even better).

If you’re in a Mediterranean mood, call for their Waah Lavash (Rs 310) that’s basically a Mezze platter with a SinCity twist.

Rest Your Feet Here…

With all the eating, drinking and dancing, escape the crowd for a few minutes and chill at one the four artsy sections of the lounge. Varying from European to art-deco and Oriental, rest your tired feet here and let the music soothe your worries away.
