The cabin crew union of Lufthansa is all set to conduct a strike soon in Frankfurt and Munich. The union named UFO announced holding a 2-day strike on Tuesday and Wednesday. The union has called about 19,000 Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cityline attendants for this massive step in the next couple of days. This is not the first time when Germany is about to witness such a situation among the cabin crew and flight attendants. In the past few months, Lufthansa experienced similar instances with several walkouts. This time, the strike is going to be for 2 days in both the cities of Germany. The UFO announced that the strike will begin from 4 AM and continue till 11 PM, according to a report by The Munich Eye.

Day 1 of the strike on March 12 will take place at the Frankfurt airport for all the flights taking off from there. And for the next day on March 13, it will cover all the planes out of Munich. Lufthansa will face the consequences of the strike by the attendants and cabin crew. Also, CityLine might face the effects of the travel disruptions at the 2 airports in Germany in the next 2 days.

In these 2 days, a major number of passengers are likely to experience some issues and flight disruptions. The cabin crew are striking in Germany’s bustling cities to demand higher pay. The UFO stated about the upcoming strike after Lufthansa announced their profits, according to a report by Hindustan Times.

Ground staff of Lufthansa airline did a strike last Saturday. There were about 25,000 people that participated in the warning strike. This became a major reason for many flight cancellations and delays as well. Travel disruptions are increasing in different airports in Germany with different walkouts, warning strikes, and other strikes.
