For this fun-filled episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, caught up with the stunning cast of ‘Call Me Bae’. Hearty laughter, fun games, good food, and endless conversations were had with Ananya Pandey, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, and Gurfateh Pirzada. We had a fun fan-interactive session with the actors and it was a wholesome moment!
Ananya Panday’s Work Bae Is…
Towards the end of our episode, we had an online interactive segment with two lucky fans. Our guests were excited to talk to their fans, so we used the amazing Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 for seamless interactions. The enthusiastic fans exchanged pleasantries and raved about how great the show’s trailer was. After that, the interesting question-answer session began.
One of the fans asked Ananya, “Who is your work bae?” The actor answered, “My makeup artist, Stacy, is my work bae because I keep troubling her. If I am having a bad day, I am troubling her then my bad day becomes fine.” This is such a bae-coded answer and we are sure everyone will relate to it!
Ananya really brought out her Bae character for this answer and reflected the ‘#behen-code’, IYKYK!

Mumbai V/S Delhi?
The next question was to Ananya about the differences in playing a Delhiite on ‘Call Me Bae’ as someone who is a hardcore Mumbaikar in real life. Not going to lie, this was quite an interesting one. Ananya Panday said, “It wasn’t that difficult because my grandparents, my mom’s side of the family, live in Delhi. So I keep going to Delhi, a lot of my childhood was spent in Delhi. So I picked up a lot of mannerisms from them.”
She added that a lot of her friends are Delhiites, including her co-star, Varun, and hence she wasn’t oblivious to the vibe or characteristic that makes Delhi, Delhi.
