If you’re a frequent traveller on Indian trains, you know better than to expect the trains to be squeaky clean. They are definitely not known for their hygiene. Recently, a woman shared a video of a rat scurrying around inside the train that she was travelling in. She was quite disgusted and angry to see the rat. She also showed how dirty the train was, in general. RailwaySeva promptly addressed the situation and registered the woman’s complaint.

Woman Shares A Video Of Rat Inside Train

Jasmita Pati was travelling on a train but didn’t know that she would encounter a tiny rat in the form of a fellow passenger. She took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) account and shared the video of a rat scurrying around on the floor of the train.

The woman angrily wrote how she was shocked at the sight of rats scurrying on the train. She also mentioned that the cleanliness of the train was subpar and she was appalled to see the dirty conditions. She tagged the concerned authorities and said that something needs to be done urgently.

Along with the video of a rat, she also shared a video which showed how dirty and unclean the train was. The mirror seemed to be quite dusty and even the walls weren’t very clean. The post was shared on March 19, at 12:16 PM.

RailwaySeva Responds To The Complaint Soon After

The social media handle of RailwaySeva was quick to respond to her complaint. They asked for the number and PNR number so that the complaint could be taken further.

The lady also went on to reveal that the helpline number 139 was not reachable when she tried to reach it. However, her complaint was promptly registered as per what the official handle said.
