PM Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled Bengaluru Founder Nadaprabhu Kempegowda’s 108 ft tall bronze statue. This bronze statue is the world’s tallest, and PM Modi’s official Twitter account shared some magnificent photographs of the same. This bronze statue of Kempegowda is located at Bengaluru International Airport. PM Modi also inaugurated the new Terminal 2 in the Bengaluru International Airport, which resembles a garden. Bengaluru International Airport Shines With World’s Tallest 108Ft Kempegowda Bronze Statue

To recognise and celebrate the contribution of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the 108 ft tall bronze statue has been built, with 98 tonnes of bronze and over 120 tonnes of steel. This statue is now an iconic addition to the Bengaluru International Airport and has been sculpted by Ram V Sutar. For the unversed, Ram V Sutar is also the visionary behind Gujarat’s historic Statue Of Unity. From his official account, PM Modi termed this statue of Kempegowda as the Statue of Prosperity. The post was captioned, “The role of Sri Nadaprabhu Kempegowda in the making of Bengaluru is unparalleled. He is remembered as a visionary who always put the welfare of people above everything else. Honoured to inaugurate the ‘Statue of Prosperity’ in Bengaluru.”

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru also called the Bengaluru International Airport, just introduced the new Terminal 2 & social media is booming with images & facts about the same. We have gathered from PM Modi’s official account that the new Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport is exotic like no other. Additionally, terminal 2 is recognised as the largest terminal in the world to be pre-certified with a Platinum LEED rating by USGBC (US Green Building Council) before commencing operations. This sight to behold has been designed by New York-based architectural firm SOM, who have kept the classic touch intact but with a tinge of contemporary designs.

Additionally, in the book of World Records, Bengaluru’s Statue of Prosperity is now the first and tallest bronze statue of a city founder. Kempegowda’s bronze statue has been built within the vicinity of the Bengaluru International Airport, in a 23-acre heritage park. A whopping amount of ₹ 84 crore has been invested in creating this landmark.
