Passengers will very soon get to witness a new addition to Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. The airport will soon open the doors to the brand-new Terminal 2, constructed at a massive cost of about ₹5,000 crores. This new terminal is the much-talked-about ‘Garden Terminal’ of the Bengaluru airport. Moreover, the runaway not only looks beyond imagination but will also help passengers to enjoy the most comfortable flying journey with its advanced infrastructure. Bengaluru Airport’s Swanky Terminal 2 Is Simply Stunning

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Bengaluru this Friday to inaugurate Terminal 2 on 11 November. He will also be present to inaugurate the statue of Nadaprabhu Kempe Gowda— the founding father of Bengaluru. The statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda is 108 ft tall and is standing tall within the airport premises designed by Ram Vanji Sutar.

After the inauguration and successful initiation of the operations and services for the passengers, it is quite certain that this second runaway will feature tons of advantages for the flyers and also help in managing the rush better. In this terminal, passengers can walk across hanging gardens and green walls of over 10000 square metres. With a new terminal, Bengaluru Airport’s capacity and space increase as well. The check-in counters will increase by a huge extent with the option to handle a double number of passengers. With only Terminal 1, Bengaluru airport is known to handle about 2.5 crore flyers in a year. And now it can even cross 5 crores with the garden terminal.
