5-Year Plan Proposed By The X User
The user suggested a five-year plan of action for the government to enhance the city’s transit infrastructure. The plan calls for 70% of the city’s population to rely on public transportation, encouraging multimodal transportation via buses, metro trains, and bicycles; creating pedestrian-friendly areas; growing the services offered by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC); developing a suburban rail system; extending the metro rail network; and creating bus and bike lanes.
The goal of the strategy is to make Bengaluru a more livable city while preserving its unique identity. The plan also calls for maintaining pedestrian-friendly zones, increasing the metro rail network, and encouraging easy transportation via buses, metro trains, and bicycles. The locals think that in order to address these issues and transform Bengaluru into a more dynamic and sustainable city, a comprehensive plan is required.
Netizens also supported the user on the social media platform X and agreed with his suggestions; however, they believe no action will be taken. And many were pessimistic about it. Check out the comments.
