Akasa Air, India’s domestic and youngest airline, has announced its entry into the state of Telangana. The airline has added Hyderabad as its 13th destination in India. The airline is all set to launch flights on a daily basis from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and Goa. The airline is surely proving its mettle, and how! Last month, the airlines announced Goa as their 12th destination since their August launch last year.
Akasa Air Announces Hyderabad As Its 13th Destination
With the announcement that Akasa Air will add Hyderabad as another destination, the airline is all set to cater to the demand for business and leisure travel. The daily flights on the Hyderabad-Goa and Hyderabad-Bengaluru routes will commence on January 25, 2023. With this launch, the airline will offer six daily flights out of Goa, connecting three major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, and now Hyderabad.
The first flight from Bengaluru to Hyderabad will leave at 10:05am on 25th January and reach Hyderabad by 11:25am. The Hyderabad to Goa flight will leave at 12:30pm and reach Goa by 1:45pm on the same day. The flight from Goa to Hyderabad will depart at 2:20pm and arrive by 3:35pm. The one from Hyderabad will leave at 4:15pm and reach Bengaluru by 5:25pm.

India’s Fastest Growing Airline
In August 2022, Akasa Air started operating in India. The airline’s operations have steadily expanded, with more than 5 lakh revenue passengers in just the first six months. The airline had hoped to reach 500 weekly flights by December 2022, and it has achieved the feat successfully. With Hyderabad, the airline now operates on 20 unique routes across 13 destinations in India, which are Ahmedabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Guwahati, Pune, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Agartala, Visakhapatnam, Goa, and Hyderabad.
It intends to have 18 aircraft in each of its fleets by the end of March 2023. It will increase its fleet by 72 aircraft during the next four years. Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, promises to offer the most comfortable service at a reasonable cost. The airline is all set to focus on tier 2 and 3 cities soon with a fleet expansion plan that calls for adding new aircraft every 15 days.
