You Can Now Enjoy Mumbai Vada Pav At Rishikesh For Just ₹30

Vada pav is one o the most iconic dishes in Mumbai. It is delicious, inexpensive and compact. You can relish it while rushing towards your day job just as easily as when chilling with friends. Hardly anything else captures Mumbai more than a plate of smoking hot vada pav with ghati masala and two fried green chillies on the side. Now, you can relish this same Bambaiya delicacy in Rishikesh.

Enjoy Mumbai Vada Pav In Rishikesh

Rishikesh is not the first place to come to your mind when you think of Vada Pav. However, this vada pav wala is located in the pristine and calm town of Rishikesh. Usually, whenever you hear the name of this place, the first things you think of are Yoga retreats and meditation centres.

Perched at the Triveni Ghat is a stall that has been selling Mumbai-style vada pavs for the past three years. Arun Kumar, who is the owner of the stall, has carved a niche for himself by selling Mumbai vada pavs in Rishikesh.

He was born and brought up in Lucknow and he travelled to Mumbai for work. There he learned how to make Mumbai-style vadas and continued to work in the city for eight long years. After this, he moved to Rishikesh and opened his very own Vada pav stall and now makes a living by selling them.

Price Of The Vada Pavs

Kumar took a literal approach in naming the stall and named it “Mumbai Ka Mashhoor Vada Pav” or Mumbai’s Famous Vada Pav. He has also put his own spin on the beloved Mumbai snack and offers a variety of Vada pavs.

Patrons get to choose from options like Classic Vada Pav which is only ₹30, Butter Vada Pav which costs ₹45, Crispy Vada Pav which is ₹75, and Paneer Vada Pav which costs ₹85. Apart Vada pavs, the stall also sells another iconic Bambaiya delicacy which is Pav Bhaji.

A plate of pav bhaji at this stall will set you back ₹85. You can also get Cutlets which cost just ₹30.
