The Government Will Roll Out Attractive Offers For Tourism Operators
Tourism Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas said that the initiative will shift the focus from houseboat tourism. Unveiling the policy he said, “Like other successful tourism products of Kerala launched since the 1990s, caravan tourism will also be developed on PPP mode with private investors, tour operators, and local communities as key stakeholders”. Under this initiative, the government will offer attractive discounts to tourism operators. The project will roll out in two months. The Caravans Will Be Equipped With Sofa-Cum-Bed, Kitchenette, Internet & More!
Caravan parks will be a major activities of this project. The caravans will be specially built for travel leisure, and stay. The caravans can be stationed in the designated parks where travellers can spend a night. The lush caravans will be equipped with sofa-cum-bed, kitchenette with fridge, dining table, toilet cubicle, micro oven partition, internet connectivity, charging system, and GPS. What’s more, the caravans will also be monitored in real-time to ensure the security of the guests.
