Kerala Announces Mandatory Registration For Adventure Tourism Activities In State

Kerala is home to dense forests, lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, striking backwaters, splendid beaches and loads more. The scenic beauty of Kerala can leave any nature lover spellbound. Now, to boost tourism, Kerala has launched a mobile app to help tourists locate hidden gems in the state. The aim of launching the Kerala Tourism Mobile App is to promote the local tourist spots of Kerala all over India as well as the international market. Actor Mohanlal inaugurated the app formally in presence of Public Works and Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyaz. Also, the Kerala government has made registration mandatory for service providers in the adventure tourism sector to ensure foolproof safety and standard of the adventure tourism.

Kerala Makes Registration Mandatory For Adventure Tourism

Kerala offers around 31 adventure sports activities and the registration will ensure enhanced safety for conducting them. According to the Hindu report, the Chief Executive Officer of Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS), Manesh Bhaskar said, “By introducing the registration system, foolproof safety and standard will be achieved in the sector, helping Kerala to attract more tourists.” For more details on registration, service providers can visit https://www.keralaadventure.org/ or https://www.keralatourism.org/business.

Kerala Tourism App Will Help Tourists Locate Restrooms, Eateries, Ayurvedic Centres And More

The Kerala Tourism Mobile App will not only help users find tourist spots in the state, but it will also assist them in locating restrooms, restaurants, souvenir shops and Ayurvedic centres. Additionally, the app will display tourist attractions in proximity to the accommodation of the tourists. They will get map details and all other information on the app.

Tourists can also upload pictures and other information of the destinations they have visited to let others know about them. The app will assist in the dissemination of all kinds of information related to the state’s tourism.

Tourists Can Download E-Brochure Of Each District Of Kerala

The app has the possibility of incorporating features like a voice assistant and augmented reality. The app will have e-brochures of every district in Kerala with details on beaches, wildlife, backwaters and more. Tourists can also get other information from the app, like details on the festivals of Kerala, the festival calendars and more.

According to an Onmanorama report, while inaugurating the app, Mohanlal said, “This app will make our journey easier and informative.
