According to a news report by the Khaleej Times, it was mentioned that the Dubai Municipality is launching nighttime swimming at certain beaches in Dubai. This detail was revealed at the Arabian Travel Market on Monday, May 1. According to the report, since tourists go around the city enjoying all the local attractions on offer, they often tend to miss out on a fun-filled beach-day experience. So, to ensure that they do not miss out on this experience, they will soon be allowed to take on swimming after sunset.

Measures To Ensure Safety On The Beaches
However, it’s worth noting that to make beaches safer, a new lighting system is being installed. This is being done at the select beaches in Jumeirah and Umm Suqueim. Not to mention, there will also be LED screens with directions and instructions about what to do, and these have already been installed. While the operations will begin shortly, lifeguards will also be stationed on the shores to ensure the safety of tourists here. So, if you sometimes do not want to venture out because of the scorching heat, you might get a chance to soon take a stroll on the shores of the beach after the sun sets.
