Goyal’s latest update on X (formerly Twitter) reveals that the concert has already attracted 300,000 registrations. Despite this impressive number, Goyal has addressed an issue that has been troubling him—requests for free passes. He pointed out that these requests have predominantly come from individuals who are more than capable of purchasing tickets.

In his post, Goyal expressed his frustration with these free pass seekers. “PS – I’ve been getting a lot of messages for free passes to the concert. Interestingly, all these requests are from people who can very well pay for these tickets. At my end, I am leaving all such messages on seen,” he wrote.

Goyal emphasised the purpose of the event is to support Zomato’s Feeding India initiative, which aims to combat hunger and malnutrition across the country. He urged people to buy tickets to support this cause. “I request everyone to please buy these tickets, and play their part in supporting the cause of eradicating malnutrition and hunger in India,” he said.

Excitement For The Event

The Zomato Feeding India Concert is not just about music but about making a difference. The event will feature Dua Lipa, who Goyal describes as his favourite global pop icon and an inspiration to millions. “ZFIC is our endeavour to strengthen India’s resolve to eradicate malnutrition and hunger in the country through community mobilisation,” he explained.

Pre-sale tickets for the concert will become available on August 27 for HSBC cardholders. Goyal’s post also serves as a reminder that ticket sales are a crucial part of supporting the broader mission of the event.

The exact venue for the concert has yet to be disclosed, but Goyal’s excitement for the event is evident. “See you all on November 30 in Mumbai, to experience the uniting power of music!” he enthused.
