Cairo Metro Line 3: New Segment Opens

Egypt’s Minister of Transport, Kamel Al-Wazir, oversaw the commencement of the trial operation for a segment of Cairo Metro Line 3. This new section spans 7.1 kilometres, connecting Al-Tawfiqia station to Cairo University, including five stops: Wadi Al-Nile Street, Gamaet El-Dewal, and Boulaq Al-Dakrur. The line features three underground stations, one ground-level station, and an elevated station, significantly enhancing connectivity and easing commutes in Cairo.
