Godawan Whisky Bags International Accolades
If you’re a whisky lover, then Godawan Artisanal Single Malt needs no introduction to you. The brand is known for its range of Indian single malts that cater to every palate. Their amazing whisky has won them many awards in the past. Now, they have added three more international accolades to their name.
Establishing themselves as the most-awarded Indian single malt in recent times, Godawan was declared ‘Indian Whisky Producer of the Year’ at the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition. The brand’s 01 Rich & Rounded and 02 Fruit & Spice, both earned 95 points at this completion. They were awarded both awarded Gold Medals.
At the International Taste Institute Awards, Godawan’s Collector’s Edition, Godawan 100, was awarded ‘Best Single Malt.’ In fact, it earned 93 points and was the highest-scoring product in the Spirits and Liquor category. Also, the limited-edition variant was also awarded the 3 Stars Superior Taste Award (Exceptional Product), along with Godawan’s 01 Rich and Rounded.
Lastly, Godawan’s 01 and 02 whisky were awarded Triple Gold Medals for both liquid and packaging at the 2024 MicroLiquor Spirit Awards (MLSA) Competition. Reportedly, the Triple Gold Medal is awarded to spirits that offer exceptional taste and unmatched quality.

Continues Its Winning Streak With 50+ Accolades Under The Belt

With these three recent international accolades, Godawan established itself as one of the most-awarded Indian single malt in recent times. They hold more than 50 national and international accolades to their name. In April this year, Godawan 100 was awarded ‘Single Malt Whisky of the Year’ at the London Spirits Competition. Godawan 100 was a limited-edition, Collector’s Edition single malt that had notes of caramel, charcoal, cinnamon, and anise, leading to a long, dry finish. The brand made only 100 bottles of this drink and it was well-received on several global platforms.
