1. Woodpecker International Film Festival

What’s better than catching up on movies from around the globe this weekend? The fourth edition of the Woodpecker film festival is bringing together films and documentaries that go beyond mainstream films. The festival also has some workshops for those interested in learning the art. You can get the screening schedule righthere and make your choice.

2. Meet like-minded book lovers at Caara Café

The Readers’ Break, a group that holds discussions on books, literature and writing, is holding a discussion on F. Scott Fitzgerald‘s The Great Gatsby. So if you have read the book and like it, you can find other readers here to exchange opinions and you will probably make some new friends too!

3. Reserve your Sunday for dessert and coffee

Chef Bani Nanda of Miam will take over the roastery’s dessert menu at Blue Tokai Coffee on Sunday and serve delicious cakes and macarons. The good news is, she is conducting a baking class the same day. You can register for the baking class here.
