“Restaurant on wheels” may not be a novel concept. There are a number of restaurants located inside old or decommissioned train coaches. However, these guys took the term to a whole new level. Recently, a couple of men set up a “5-star restaurant” in Mumbai Locals and treated passengers to funny “gourmet” dishes that are sure to leave you smiling. Here are all the details that you need to know about this particular hilarious incident.

Recently, a couple of men had a hilarious idea to open a restaurant inside a Mumbai local train. Frankly, we don’t know if this idea was brilliant, hilarious or brilliantly hilarious. The short video was shared by a digital creator, Aryan Kataria, on his Instagram account. In the video, Aryan and a fellow digital creator were seen dressed as professional waiters at high-end restaurants.
They first started by promoting their little entrepreneurial endeavour. They distributed flyers at what looked like Churchgate Station in South Mumbai. The restaurant was called “Tasty Ticket.” Next, they boarded a train and set up a table between the seats of the train. They served delicacies like Maggi cake with ketchup garnish and Jalebiano. What’s Jalebiano, you ask?
Well, it’s Jalebi topped with a light sprinkling of oregano. Fancy a bite? Because frankly, we’re not really sure if we want to try that combination. Regardless, it seemed that the people who tried their food were content enough. When asked which dish they liked best, one of the passengers said that all the dishes were great because if they were made with heart, then they were all great.

Netizens Wonder If It Is Legal
Since the video was posted six days ago, it has garnered close to 1 million likes and even more views. It also received a number of hilarious reactions from Netizens. However, some wondered about the legality of the restaurant. Since it wasn’t mentioned in the video if they received proper permits from authorities to conduct such an exercise, its legality may be questionable.
One of the commenters even said that the duo managed to offend the RPF, Western Railway, the BMC, the FSSAI and even Gordon Ramsay in one fell swoop. While the activity was fun and hilarious, it should be remembered that doing this at the wrong time may create a lot of inconvenience for passengers and may even be dangerous.
Mumbai Locals are generally very crowded and doing this is not advisable.
