We are so close to the much-awaited consecration ceremony of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. Major preparations have been ongoing for some time for the inauguration of the holy temple. Along with the temple and its intricate designs and decor, fascinating devotees, the present preparations are also making everyone eagerly await the grand day. What are the extraordinary preparations and celebrations getting added to everything happening in Ayodhya? Let’s take a look at all of these here!

Chef Vishnu Manohar Will Make 7,000 Kg Ram Halwa

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, BhikuMhatre (@MumbaichaDon) shared some information about the chef making Ram Halwa for Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha.

The Nagpur-based chef is all set to prepare a huge quantity of Suji ka Halwa for the consecration ceremony. He will cook 7,000 kg of Ram Halwa at the Ram Mandir on January 22. To make the suji halwa, he will use 900 kg of rava, 300 kg of dry fruits, 40 kg of cardamom and nutmeg powder, 1 ton of sugar, about 1500 litres of milk, 1 ton of ghee, and 2,500 litres of water.

The chef has made a huge 10-foot kadhai to make halwa. It will be able to hold a capacity of 12,000 litres. And the spatula to mix and cook all the ingredients is about 10-12 feet long. There will be some cooks to assist Chef Vishnu Manohar in cooking halwa. Ram Halwa will be offered to the deity as prasad. After, it will be distributed among all the devotees.

What Are The Other Preparations For The Ram Mandir?

The holy temple will get a massive bell weighing 2,400 kg. Eight metals, also known as ashtadhatu, have been used in manufacturing this extravagant bell. Making the bell cost ₹25 lakh, according to a report by The Times of India. The bell has been made in Jalesar and then sent to Ayodhya by train on Tuesday.

A golden gate has also been installed at the Ram Mandir before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. It is 12 feet in height and 8 feet in width. The installed gate is the first of its kind and more 13 will be installed soon.
