The UAE is known for everything fancy, but it’s also known for some breathtaking picturesque spots. Be it the majestic Burj Khalifa or the effervescent streets- the nation has everything to offer. Now to add more to its glory, a picture of the bright pink lake, which, is discovered in the UAE is taking the social media by storm and how. Found by a young Emirati photographer Ammar Al Farsi, the lake looks unreal and beautiful. Well, this place is already on our bucket list.

Emirati Student Captures Pink Lake In Ras Al Khaimah
Aged 19, Ammar, a student from Sharjah captured shots of the lake in Ras al Khaimah from his drone and then posted them on Twitter, which has gone viral on the internet. The fine aerial pictures show the lake to be 40 metres long and 10 metres wide, coloured in a cotton-candy pink, right across the water. When it comes to the shots, reports in Gulf News state that the drone shots were taken approximately 100 metres from the coast at Saraya Islands.

Pictures Of The Lake Take Internet By The Storm
On this, Dr Saif Al Ghais, director-general of the Environment Protection and Development Authority (EPDA), said the lake’s pink colour could be attributed to the presence of red algae usually found in such water bodies.

Well, water bodies or not, the lake looks nothing but stunning. And now with the discovery of the pink lake, UAE is having quite a strange time. Dubai residents are witnessing some crazy fog, and everything around is looking prettier than ever.
