You won’t have to brave the congestion and traffic of Central Delhi anymore to catch a metro after stepping out of the New Delhi Railway station. A state-of-the-art skywalk has come up between the Ajmeri Gate side of the New Delhi Railway Station and the New Delhi metro station. The skywalk has a length of 242 metres and is equipped with escalators and CCTV cameras. After arriving in Delhi by train, you can use the skywalk to reach the metro station in a quick and hassle-free way.

The Skywalk Will Help In Faster Movement Of Passengers And Ease Traffic
The New Delhi metro station lies on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro that connects North Delhi’s Samaypur Badli to Gurgaon’s Huda City Centre. It is also one of the terminal stations of the Airport Express Metro route ( Orange line). The metro is the heart and soul of Delhi NCR and it connects different parts of the capital with ease. The skywalk will make travelling even easier for passengers and will smoothen traffic flow in the area. Besides, it will be linked with the Bhavbhuti Marg multi-level parking too.

Skywalks To Come Up At Nehru Place And Bhikaji Cama Place Too
As per reports, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has also planned to set up skywalks in two of the busiest marketplaces in South Delhi, Nehru Place and Bhikaji Cama Place. Apart from the skywalks, exhibition halls, amphitheatres and recreational areas are also set to come up in these markets.
