Gulf news stated that 45 Abu Dhabi locals participated in the yoga practice on the helipad of the Burjeel Medical City.
A One-of-Its Kind Celebration in Abu Dhabi
The one-of-a-kind event was part of a series of yoga seminars organised by health provider VPS Healthcare for YogaFest before the International Day of Yoga on June 21. VPS Healthcare and Burjeel Hospitals will cooperate with the Indian Embassy and the Sports Council to organise a mass yoga event at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium on June 21. This event was in addition to both hospitals’ regular weekly yoga classes. There were more than 6,000 individuals present.
On the night of the strawberry supermoon, participants got the chance to unwind with a restorative full-moon yoga session on the helipad of Burjeel Medical City. Other Activities in YogaFest
The organisation hosted YogaFest in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, and Sharjah. The group’s community health and wellness activities include daily morning yoga classes throughout the week. However, intending to encourage individuals to incorporate yoga’s advantages into their everyday lives. Moreover, the workshops and festivities are planned to draw around 2,000 individuals from the three Emirates. Numerous yoga aficionados took part in Abu Dhabi’s world’s biggest yoga gathering in honour of International Yoga Day. The Indian Embassy, the Indian People’s Forum (IPF), and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council worked together to plan the enormous event (ADSC). Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Sunjay Sudhir, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE also joined. More than 5,000 participants were present on the International Day of Yoga Common Protocol. It wa a series of straightforward and useful yogic postures for healthy living.
