Bengaluru’s ride-hailing service, Namma Yatri, known for its zero-commission model is all set to launch cab services in the Silicon Valley of India. Giving tough competition to Ola, Uber and other mobility aggregators, the cab service will also be in line with its zero-commission model.

Namma Yatri To Soon Launch Cab Service In Bengaluru With Zero Commission Model

A report by The Indian Express threw light on the fact that Namma Yatri team hasn’t locked the dates to formally announced its cab service. But what you must know that it will also operate with the zero-commission model that applies to its autos plying in the city. This news comes after the Karnataka government’s sincere efforts to launch auto and cab services in the city.

The Namma Yatri team stated to The Indian Express that their telos is to offer customers multiple transport options as per their preferences. This includes cab and public transport. Furthermore, the team added that in Kochi and Kolkata cabs are already operational. Their metro service option is live in Chennai. When it comes to Bengaluru and other cities, the company will announce more details once the plans are finalised. Backed by Juspay Technologies, the Bengaluru-based mobility app, Namma Yatri earlier launched Yatri Sathi in Kolkata and Yatri in Kochi.

The Cabs Will Be In Compliance With Karnataka Government’s Revised Fares

The spokesperson of the app further stated to The Indian Express that Namma Yatri focuses on Service Provider Empowerment. It enables drivers to provide better services to their customers and improve on the guy. Just like autos, even cabs will have a similar approach. It will also comply with the revised fares announced by the Karnataka government for cab aggregators.

If demand for cabs increases, then Namma Yatri developers might introduce a nominal subscription fee for cab drivers on its app. The team assured that the information about nominal subscription will be communicated to cab drivers during the on-board process.
