But one thing is for sure, the face of Dubai is going to see some major improvements from the already existing impressive infrastructure, as there is constant and rapid development taking place. And recently, Compare The Market used AI to envision how Dubai would look as a ‘15-minute city’. The result has certainly left us stumped!

Compare The Market’s Life Insurance Team used AI to envision some of the most popular cities across the globe to see how they would look as 15-minute cities. In the case of Dubai, the AI-designed concept created multipurpose neighbourhoods, wherein all the essential things were accessible within a 15-minute radius.

The city looks absolutely stunning in the picture and with ample greenery, and contemporary buildings, Dubai as a 15-minute city in this AI-imagined image looks absolutely impressive.

Features Of 15-Minute City

In case you want, there are certain features of a 15-minute city and they are as follows –

  • The whole idea is to cut down on carbon emissions with the minimal use of cars for travel.
  • The designs also tend to show that there is a dramatic increase in green spaces throughout the city.
  • There is improved air quality and outdoor activities are encouraged, promoting better mental and physical health.
  • There should be a creation of multifunctional central hubs so that residents can access a variety of services and amenities while also fostering a stronger sense of community.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that other cities, such as London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds in the UK looked equally impressive in the reimagined picture. On a global scale, Paris, New York, Singapore, and Tokyo looked pretty amazing. In fact, Paris and New York had already begun implementing this concept several years ago, however, the UK has been a lot slower in this.

So, this image truly makes us wonder and drives our imagination about what would Dubai look like as a 15-minute city.
