Not only do their travel plans get disrupted but they also end up losing precious time and money too at times. This time, a flyer complained about Air India cancelling a flight from Delhi to New York. Here’s what happened.
Passenger Slammed Air India For Delhi-New York Flight Cancellation

According to the X post, the passenger visited Hyderabad on a vacation. While returning, he faced a major inconvenience as one of the scheduled flights was cancelled. The first flight on this journey was Air India 840. His ticket was scheduled for August 17 and he boarded the flight to land in New Delhi.
Next, he was about to catch another flight to travel to the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The departure time was 2:20 AM on August 18. Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled, Mamidi Ramakrishna shared. The passenger needed to report to work place on the same day but the unexpected cancellation created a major inconvenience. “What should I explain to my company,” Mamidi asked to Air India.

The airline responded to the X post and apologised for disrupting the travel plans. Air India asked for the flyer’s details to check and assist regarding the sudden flight cancellation.

According to the screenshots of the flight tickets, the Air India flight to New York was scheduled to take off from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on August 18 at 2:20 AM. The arrival time was 7:35 AM on the same day.

Another Complaint By Another Passenger
X user R R Sahay (@CRajiva) shared about a recent flight delay.
@airindia Boarding on Al 407 flight from Delhi to Patna completed half an hour back..But we are still waiting for departure announcement. Exact reason for delay is still unknown. Can we know actual status? @MoCA_GoI

According to the X post, passengers completed boarding the Air India 407 flight from Delhi to Patna and waited for around 30 minutes. However, there were no updates or announcements regarding departure. The airline did not mention the reason causing the delay when he posted about this inconvenience.
