Starting August 1, 2024, travellers can enjoy hassle-free connections to Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata from Hindon. The fares start from a competitive ₹5,134. Bookings are now open on the airline’s website, mobile app, and other major booking platforms.
This expansion complements Air India Express’s existing robust network of over 280 weekly flights departing from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi. The strategic location of Hindon Airport caters specifically to travellers in Central and East Delhi, Noida, and surrounding areas, including Agra, Baghpat, Dehradun, and Panipat. This translates to smoother travel experiences for those residing beyond the immediate vicinity of IGI Airport.

Air India Express’s MD, Aloke Singh, emphasised the company’s commitment to expanding connectivity in the growing domestic and international markets. He emphasised the potential of secondary airports in major metropolitan areas, to benefit travellers in the NCR and other regions.
The initial schedule will see two daily direct flights from Bengaluru and one each from Kolkata and Goa to Hindon. This caters to travellers who are headed towards Central, North, and East Delhi, as well as surrounding and tourist destinations. Passengers can also benefit from convenient one-stop connections to other key destinations on the Air India Express network.
Loyalty programme members booking through the airline’s website or app enjoy additional perks. These include exclusive discounts, special deals, NeuCoins rewards, and priority check-in, boarding, and baggage services. Special fares and benefits are also available for students, senior citizens, SMEs, dependants, and members of the Indian armed forces.
Located in Ghaziabad, Hindon Airport is a vital secondary airport within the NCR. Its focus on connectivity makes it a crucial gateway for travel to tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India. With the addition of new domestic routes and the announcement of upcoming international services to Kathmandu and Dhaka, Air India Express is well-positioned to cater to the growing demand for air travel within the region.
