Convenient one-stop routes linking Ayodhya with locations like Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Kochi, Guwahati, Goa, Gwalior, Jaipur, Pune, Surat, Srinagar, and Sharjah are also offered by Air India Express.

At the moment, direct flights are offered by Air India Express between Lucknow and Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and Dubai, Sharjah, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Air India Express made history recently when it was the first airline to run a direct route from Surat to Dubai. This was on the day that the Surat International Airport opened its brand-new international terminal.

The district magistrate claims that the Ayodhya Airport’s first phase is prepared for opening. A 65,000-square-foot terminal that can accommodate two or three aircraft per hour has been built as part of the first phase. A 2200-metre runway is being built to enable landings of both smaller and larger aircraft. This includes the Boeing 737, Airbus A319, and Airbus 320. The airport will have eight aprons for aircraft parking during the first phase of construction.
