Akasa Air is the most recently launched airline in India. Ever since it started functioning its services, it has operated flights from 14 domestic destinations. And just recently, India’s newest airline added its newest destination to the list. The airline announced it is all to operate from Bagdogra. This is the 15th destination of this fast-growing network and with this, Akasa Air makes its entry in West Bengal. Read on to know all the deets about the newest route of the airline.

Akasa Air To Start Flights In Bagdogra On 17 April

The newest airline in India will start operating regular flights from and to Bagdogra on 17 April 2023. From this city in West Bengal, there will be non-stop flights to and from Bengaluru. The latest addition of Akasa Air is surely going to be super beneficial in strengthening domestic connectivity between Bengaluru and many nearby places of Bagdogra. This is a great example of building well-functional air connectivity between major cities such as Bengaluru and several tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

With launching its operations in West Bengal, Akasa Air has also started its journey to grow its domestic presence in the eastern part of India. Adding Bagdogra as the 15th domestic destination is a great milestone for the airline.

These Are The Non-Stop Flights Between Bagdogra & Bengaluru

Starting on 17 April, there will be a flight operating from Bagdogra every day to take passengers to Bengaluru and vice-versa.

  • Flight QP 1372 will depart from Bengaluru at 7:30 AM to reach Bagdogra by 10:15 AM.
  • Flight QP 1373 will fly from Bagdogra at 10:55 AM to land in Bengaluru by 1:45 PM.

Both these flights will be non-stop.

Akasa Air was introduced to the world over half a year back in August 2022. And since then, over 1 million revenue passengers flew with this airline. The airline has achieved the landmark of running 700 weekly flights connecting 15 cities in India. The cities are:
