Similarly, the return of a festival has been announced by the Abu Dhabi Media Office and it looks grand. The news regarding the date and location has been announced so let’s take a deeper view of this Al Dhafra Water Festival.

The 14th Edition Of The Al Dhafra Water Festival Will Commence From March 2023

This event promises locals and guests 10 days of pure thrills with watersports and International sportsmen coming in every year. The usual location for this event is right there on the edge between land and sea, more especially in Al Mirfa City/Al Dhafra District. The events will feature kite flying, boat races, windsurfing, adventurous camping activities, and beach concerts. This time there are more surprises and exciting activities in store for y’all.

The 14th Edition will be held at Al Mughirah Beach in the Al Dhafra District from March 10–19, 2023, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Area has declared that dhow sailing competitions, beach activities, folklore performances, concerts, and a traditional market will be held to honour the emirate’s nautical legacy.

From Traditional Souqs To Beach Activities, This Event Has It All

The WingFoil Racing World Cup is a wind-powered water sports competition that evolved from kitesurfing and windsurfing. All of this will be held at the Al Dhafra Water Festival for the 2023 edition for the first time in Abu Dhabi. The competition will feature more than 50 local and international competitors.

The extravaganza is filled with activities that satisfy the needs of every age group from children to adults and old. The planning committee is eager to create and offer new activities to appeal to the preferences of people of all ages while highlighting the value of heritage and preserving a sense of national identity.

Visitors get the chance to purchase handicrafts, locally grown spices, traditional clothing, and homemade perfumes at the traditional souqs. They can also sample Emirati sweets, authentic karak tea, and Arabic coffee.
