Every year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on external hardcourts, Dubai Duty Free hosts the Dubai Tennis Championships, also known as the Dubai Open, a professional tennis competition. For sponsorship purposes, it was given that name. Men’s and women’s competitions are held at the tournament, which occurs at the end week of February. The emirate’s annual two-week tennis spectacle begins in two days, and qualifying began on four side courts on Friday morning. As a result, the area around the 5,000-seat stadium is bustling with activity. The men’s ATP 500 competition, which takes place from February 27 to March 4, will quickly follow the women’s WTA 1000 competition. It will runs from February 19 to 25. More than 80,000 visitors are anticipated for this event of 14 days. 17 of the top 20 players in the world are expected to compete in the women’s competition.

The elite group of athletes arriving from all over the world, in addition to a slew of trainers, masseuses, physiotherapists, sports psychologists, WTA and ATP personnel, and special guests, will stay in the nearby Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.
