Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a grand Arangetram of their to-be daughter-in-law, Radhika Merchant at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive. Radhika Merchant is the bride-to-be of Anant Ambani. She made her debut stage performance at the Grand Theatre in the Jio World Centre, Mumbai on 5 June. She is a famous Bharatnatyam dancer and her Arangetram marked the graduation ceremony of her dance field.
Radhika Merchant Made Her Debut Stage Performance
Radhika Merchant performed in the Arangetam and made her first Bharatnatyam on-stage solo performance. Her performance is the graduation celebration and the indication of her success and her guru Bhavana Thakar as well. Guru Bhavana Thakar trained Radhika in Bharatnatyam dance form for more than 8 years now. Her Arangetram signifies that she is now officially trained to train others in Bharatnatyam. The family members and friends of Ambanis, Merchants, Bollywood celebrities, and eminent personalities from the world of politics, business, and public services attended the Arangetram of Radhika Merchant.

She Performed The Traditional Elements Of Arangetram
Radhika marked the beginning of her performance by giving Pushpanjali to the idols, her guru, and guests present in Mumbai’s Jio World Centre. With Pushpanjali, she sought the blessings to start her performance. She then performed Ganesh Vandana and traditional Allaripu and prayed for a prosperous performance. Radhika performed in Achyutam Keshavam, a rendition of Shiva Panchakshara, and AstaRasa.

The invited guests attended the celebration in their traditional attires. Though the Covid-19 positive cases have reduced, it is still present and anyone can get infected with the virus. Ambanis followed the covid protocols and also made sure to conduct Radhika’s Arangetram without any obstacles. In fact, the guests underwent the Covid test before attending the event.
