On the exciting episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met the popular content creator Ankush Bahuguna and explored his childhood neighbourhood, Mayur Vihar Phase 1. While trying out all his favourite street foods from the area, we got a deep dive into his life as a content creator, his equation with his friends, his childhood at home, and a lot more. In this episode, we also played some fun games with Ankush; read to learn all about it.
We Played ‘This Or That’ With Ankush Bahuguna
While trying some piping hot samosas in Mayur Vihar, we discovered that Ankush Bahuguna has an extremely low spice tolerance, so much so that he pairs his samosa only with the sweet red chutney. And if the filling is too spicy, he sometimes just eats the outer shell!
Adding some fun to the conversation, we decided to play ‘This or That’ with Ankush Bahuguna, where we gave him two choices and he had to pick one. First, we asked him to choose between Dilli ki chaat and Mumbai ki pav bhaji. After giving it a little thought, he finally chose Dilli ki pav bhaji. Next, he picked Delhi’s winter over Mumbai’s monsoon, saying that in winter you can just layer up and step out—but monsoons make things quite difficult.
He also chose travelling with friends over solo travel, sharing that he had recently taken a solo trip to Paris and realised it’s not really his cup of tea. When asked to choose between a bold makeup look and a natural one, he said a natural look is more his aesthetic. He also picked bold eyes over bold lips—definitely some interesting choices!

His Journey Into Creating Makeup Content
Not long ago, Ankush Bahuguna also ventured into makeup content creation, which was a bold move, considering it’s still not very common for men in India to openly express an interest in makeup. We were curious to know how the audience responded to this shift in his content. Ankush shared that since he was already quite popular on Instagram and had an established audience, the transition was fairly smooth, and people were largely accepting.
He feels that trolling is quite normal. It was happening even before he started makeup content. What truly matters, he said, is how supportive the people around you are, more than strangers on social media.
In this episode, Ankush Bahuguna also spoke about his digital arrest experience. Watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel to learn all about it!
