Arabian Travel Market opened at the Dubai World Trade Centre on May 1, Monday. This is the 30th annual conference and the focus this year is on sustainability in tourism. As the event focuses on efforts to cut carbon emissions, people attending this event can listen to experts from the industry about how this sector is working towards this goal. Arabian Travel Market In Dubai

The tourism conference, Arabian Travel Market, is back in Dubai for its 30th edition. As it opened on Monday, the conference was attended by his highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. As it happens, for this conference, he was also accompanied by his highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance and his highness, Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. Moreover, this year 2000 exhibitors from 150 countries are participating in the event that will go on till May 4, Thursday. According to a news report by the National News, about 34,000 visitors are expected during the course of four days.
