The restaurants participating in this fanfare have curated a special menu and each of them has included a special ingredient to give it an Asian twist. Typhoon Shelter, Pa Pa Ya, Asia Kitchen, Foo, TYGR and Gandmamas will be participating in this festival.

1. Typhoon Shelter 

Typhoon Shelter is using Sake as the main ingredient in this festival. Sake is basically a Japanese wine made with rice and here at Typhoon Shelter they are offering sakes at three different room temperatures and all of them taste amazing and very different from each other. Without a doubt, you should come to Typhoon Shelter to enjoy some amazing drinks and Asian food.

2. Pa Pa Ya

Pa Pa Ya which is famous for its authentic Asian food and is another restaurant participating in this festival. They are using Tamari Soy, which is the Japenese version of Chinese Soy sauce in their dishes. Some of the dishes we absolutely loved are the vegetable ginger tamari roll along with the grilled prawns Moreton bay chestnut.

3. Asia Kitchen

Head to Asia Kitchen to enjoy the authentic flavours of Lemon Grass. The ambience of Asia Kitchen is great, the food is delightful and you must try their special Lemon Grass Chicken, the Shanghai Fizz, Lemon Grass Fried Rice and the vegetable Sui Mai with lemongrass.

4. FOO

Love Wasabi? If yes, then walk into FOO which has just the right food for you! We tried the Chicken Wasabi Dumpling, Wasabi Martini and the Wasabi baby potatoes and I must tell you we enjoyed all of these dishes, they were lip-smackingly beautiful. And guess what? They also have Wasabi Ice Cream, which is the perfect end to your meal here!

Some of the other restaurants you can try here are TYGR which has basil as its ingredient or go to Grandmama’s Café where you can enjoy a burst of chilli in your dishes. The Asian Fanfare ends on the 31st August so hurry up and head to High Street Phoenix & Palladium.
