Atlys, a visa online platform, has entered the UK market through a strategic acquisition of UK visa services company Artionis. The strategy is to make visas available to the multicultural travelling population of the UK, particularly to the 36% of the population who hold non-UK passports.
Atlys UK Expansion: Strategic Acquisition Of Artionis
In a significant landmark in Atlys UK expansion, the firm has purchased Artionis for a cash deal. The acquisition welcomes 40 Artionis experts from its Edinburgh, Manchester, and London offices into the Atlys team. Atlys plans to increase its UK employee headcount to 80 employees by the end of the year.
“UK expansion is about fairness, not just growth,” said Mohak Nahta, Founder and CEO of Atlys. He further adds, “Our platform makes travel easier, extending impact across Europe.”
Improving Visa Processing Efficiency
Artionis is known for its sole rights in handling UK-to-Russia visas, a field that demands accuracy and special expertise. Atlys will integrate the capabilities of Artionis to simplify the application process to reduce unnecessary paperwork. It will also provide applicants with accurate timelines supported by refund guarantees. Atlys will also reduce the application time to less than five minutes. After the acquisition, Atlys will modernise Artionis’ antiquated processes, prioritising speed and online-first experience for travellers.
Wider Perspective And Future Plans
Apart from visa services, Atlys has a vision to be an international travel solution one-stop shop in the near future. Expansion into travel insurance products and Forex and eSIMs is in the plans for the business. This innovative vision actually showcases Atlys’s strong belief in empowering travellers worldwide with the security of knowing that they are properly covered wherever they travel on earth, regardless of how influential the passport.
The Atlys UK expansion through the acquisition of Artionis is a milestone in the company’s vision to make international travel accessible and bring inclusivity to the global travel community.
