We didn’t know we would hit a jackpot when we decided to take Atul to Mumbai’s Girgaon for this episode. It turns out he eagerly looked forward to exploring Girgaon. He revealed that this place used to be his regular spot. It was because he frequented Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh during his theatre days. Looks like we made him reminisce about his past!

It was only right that we treated this Marathi maanus to some authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. What better way to do that than relishing mouthwatering food at the iconic Sujata Upahar Gruha? It is more than a century-old spot for the best Maharashtrian thalis at affordable prices. He was excited to hear about the traditional dishes to gobble on this food trail.

Sujata Upahar Gruha has it all! From breakfast to dinner options, you will definitely be satisfied with the food here. For our first food spot, we indulged in good snack options at Vinay Health Home. It was time for thalis and assorted yummy side dishes. 

Just as Atul was served the fantastic authentic Maharashtrian thali, he began listing the items out loud. Some of them were sajuk tup, bhakri, usal bhaji, varan and gulab jamun. He told us that this was a fantastic thali and he was ready to dig in right then. Lastly, we enjoyed a must-have item here, Ukadiche Modak. Tap in the video to know how he ate this sweet dish.
