Ganesh Chaturthi is the auspicious day dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is celebrated with pomp and glory all around India. Not just in the country, devotees living abroad also make grand arrangements and worship Bappa on his special day. To celebrate the beautiful occasion of Ganeshotsav, a complex of Kolkata’s Baguiati area has come up with an excellent idea.

The society members of this complex built a unique pandal this year to pay tribute to a significant achievement of India. What is this Ganesh Puja pandal all about? Read on to know all about the celebrations.

Named Executive Palace Complex, the society members of this complex celebrated Ganesh Puja with the theme of Chandrayaan-3. The entire world knows about ISRO’s remarkable achievement of the lander touching the southern polar region of the Moon. To give tribute to ISRO for writing history and glorifying India’s name in the entire world, the complex members thought of this theme to celebrate Ganeshotsav in 2023.

Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of Executive Palace in Vip Road, Baguiati said, “On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, this year we are giving tribute to ISRO. For every Indian, the Chandrayaan-3 mission is a historic achievement. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi has a spiritual and a religious significance. It is believed that he is the destroyer of obstacles and creates a happy environment.” This year’s Ganesh puja plan is to celebrate the festival for six days. They have organised Hawan before Visarjan where all the residents are going to participate. They also have plans to distribute bhog to more than 2,000 people outside the complex premises.

Mr. Ankit Agarwal shared how every good beginning and every auspicious work starts with the worship of Lord Ganesha. He also talked about how Ganesh Chaturthi has been catching on in West Bengal over the past few years.
