Flight proves to be an easy alternative. However, if you are travelling by economy class, it gets a little congested. And we often wish that there were fewer people on the flight. Well, this is just a dream, right? But this UK man got VIP treatment as he was the only passenger on the entire flight!
Only Passenger To Fly!
Paul Wilkinson had booked a flight from Portugal to Northern Ireland on 30th March to meet his family. When he reached the airport, there was no one except him and the airport staff at the gate of the Jet2 flight. At first, he thought the flight was cancelled and sensed something was wrong. He asked airport staff if there was a problem or if the flight was cancelled or rescheduled. The staff member informed him that he was the only passenger on the flight and called him a VIP passenger.
This was a surprise for Paul Wilkinson and thought that he was being pranked. Moreover, he thought of being either early or late. In addition to this, the flight attendants called him “King Paul”.

Perks Of Being Travelling Alone
While narrating his experience, Paul Wilkinson stated that he got to pick whichever seat he wanted. He even spoke to the captain before the take off. This was no less than a private jet experience that cost around ₹28.5 lakhs. Well, not a bad experience for a ₹13,000 ticket, right?
In addition to this, he got a one on one narration safety demonstration and took pictures as a reminder. The most amazing experience was when he got off the flight and didn’t have to wait for passport control and baggage claim. Even the authorities were surprised to see only one passenger.
When he narrated this experience to his wife, they had a huge laugh but then had to travel on a cramped up flight from Belfast! Well, you can probably get lucky only once.
