The quick-commerce platform has decided to deliver aerators to customers’ addresses in the Karnataka capital within only 10 minutes. The company has joined hands with Earth Fokus for this fast delivery initiative. Earth Fokus is a famous company known for its smart water management and saving solutions.
Though the conditions of the water crisis have improved to an extent in some areas of Bengaluru, sadly some places are still facing problems even now. In such times, more and more consumers are looking to install aerators as this is an important step to save water. The need for this device has clearly increased.
Swiggy Instamart reported a rise of 1400 per cent in searches for aerators in the past week, according to a press release. This jump in searches is in comparison to the previous month. People are understanding the need of the hour and purchasing these devices to conserve as much water as possible.
What Are The Company’s Plans For This In-Demand Product?
Swiggy Instamart is currently delivering three kinds of aerators that can be used for basin/ bath taps, kitchen taps, and overhead showers. The next plan is to stock up and secure more than 5,000 aerators to cater to the growing needs. Interestingly, customers can get an offer of up to 40 per cent on aerators.
Swiggy Instamart also plans to extend the facility of delivering aerators to other bustling cities in India. The plan is for Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Installing this device is a simple yet effective step to control water wastage. These devices can help save about 50,000 litres of water in a year in a family of 4 people.
