This time, a Bengalurean spotted an auto driver stuck in traffic blasting Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’. This iconic song released in 2011 has taken Netizens on a nostalgic ride.

Neerja Shah took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of an auto rickshaw driver in Bengaluru. What sets him apart is that this auto driver actually based Christina Perri’s hit song, ‘A Thousand Years. The auto driver stuck in traffic, was ferrying passengers on Old Madras Road. In her caption, Neerja Shah called it “proof” that everyone loves the American singer, Christina Perri. She adds that it’s an absolute joy to watch the auto driver vibing to this song which ’90s kids have a special place in their hearts for.

It was the ultimate romantic song which celebrated eternal love. Christina Perri specifically wrote and sang this song for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 soundtrack. In this #PeakBengaluru moment, an auto driver from Bengaluru drove ’90s kids down the road of nostalgia. ‘A Thousand Years’ is known for its beautiful melody and its ability to stir memories, evoke emotions and transport one to different realms.
