Bengaluru Woman’s “Cute” Interaction With Auto Driver
Cute #Bengaluru moment. I asked if he discusses on these with others too. He replied… pic.twitter.com/1zkEMRdfhP

Namrata S Rao, a Bengaluru-based woman took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a “Cute Bengaluru moment” she experienced during an auto ride. According to her post, she asked the auto driver, “Tumba seke alla?” which basically means it’s really hot outside, isn’t it? In Kannada. Surprised by her inquiry in the native language, the driver and Namrata continued to talk about entrance exams like CET and NEET that his daughter could attempt as she is now in Class 11.
‘Illa madam, we understand people, we get vibes too. I could feel you that were genuine person to ask on this, that’s why. Else, the passenger will be with ear phones & I’ll be staring at the road, just like any other day’. I agree with him, sometimes it’s all about the vibes.😊

Somewhere during their interaction, Namrata asked the driver if he talked to everyone else like this as well. To this, he responded that he “understands people and gets vibes too.” He only opened up to her and asked her about these things because she seemed genuinely interested. He went on to mention how many passengers wear earphones and he drives monotonously around the city, like “any other day.”

Internet Loves This Genuine Human Interaction
Amid the many news and posts you see about auto drivers in Bengaluru, this post is definitely a positive change! What people love about this post is the genuine human interaction between the auto driver and the lady. It’s nothing out of the ordinary but just two people discussing daily things – a basic interaction we are losing these days. And this is exactly what netizens felt as well. Here are some comments you cannot miss out on this post.
Yes it is a good gesture to start a conversation with a taxi driver or auto driver if he/she is willing. Otherwise life is extremely transactional and frankly boring.

These days, auto drivers are plugged with their earphones and passengers with theirs. The genuine conversation between the two is totally missing.

I never had a ride in an auto or taxi without asking their names, place or other basic questions!

Nice way to start conversation in #Bengaluru now with anyone – ‘Tumba seke allwa?’

I am following this every time. Nowadays I am trying to talk to people everywhere and those discussions will give a much better vibe, realisation, peace etc..,

It must be so difficult to drive the entire day in traffic.
I have an issue with auto drivers due to their attitude.
However they are working so hard for their family…
Will keep this mind from new time.
Thanks @NamrataSRao for posting this.

Can totally relate to this…I have such wonderful conversations on my office visits…most auto drivers love to talk but it all depends on the person who sits behind and their openess to talk
