1. Mamzar Park

Al Mamzar is a beautiful park in Dubai with lush landscaping and a pristine beach. It spans 99 hectares and includes four beaches, lawns, pools, playgrounds, courts, cabins, and bicycle paths. There are 28 barbecue areas and a 12-foot concrete half-pipe for skateboarders. Fifteen park chalets are available for rent: five large ones for Dhs200/day and ten smaller ones for Dhs150/day.

When:  Sunday to Wednesday from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm and Thursday to Saturday from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm

2. Zabeel Park

Zabeel Park has unique attractions like restaurants, boat rides, and a cricket pitch. There are also three technology-based zones with interactive exhibits. Dubai Garden Glow showcases animatronic dinosaurs and a glow-in-the-dark garden comprising 10 million energy-saving bulbs. The Dubai Frame is a 150-meter-tall architectural landmark with incredible views of old and new Dubai, including a glass-floor bridge.

3. Mushrif Park

Mushrif Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Dubai. It offers a walking, cycling and jogging track, swimming pools, and courts for various sports. The park also has an adventure park with over 85 challenges across five levels. Additionally, there are play areas, barbecue spots, restaurants, a train ride, an equestrian centre, and camel riding. The park’s World Village features traditional houses from 13 different countries.

4. Safa Park

Safa Park, a Dubai favourite since 1975, is beautifully landscaped with lakes and trees, offering great views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Water Canal. Though reduced in size due to the canal, it’s still a joy to explore and has some of the city’s best barbecue spots and play areas. It’s perfect for picnics, with grassy lawns covering 80% of the park. The park features a 3.5-kilometre running track that is well-liked by runners in Dubai.

5. Creek Park

6. Al Barsha Pond Park

Al Barsha Pond Park in Dubai features a large central man-made lake with a 1.5-kilometre running track and cycling path. The park offers sports facilities like basketball courts, tennis courts, football pitches, gym equipment, and children’s play areas. Visitors can enjoy pedal boat rides on the lake and relax in the greenery, picnic areas, and by the beautiful fountain. Amenities include small kiosks selling popcorn and soft drinks.

7. Quranic Park

Quranic Park is a new 60-hectare park in Al Khawaneej, Dubai, with two main attractions: the Cave of Miracles and The Glasshouse. The park offers an insight into several areas of the Holy Quran, and there are orchards with signboards inlaid with golden Arabic calligraphy. One Coffee House serves coffee, chocolates, and desserts in the park. There’s also a small playground for children next to the cafe.

Where: 6FRC+4P4, Al Khawaneej 1 – Dubai
When: Saturday to Thursday from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm and on Friday from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Cost: Free and AED 5 per person to visit Cave of Miracles and The Glasshouse
