17 Best Sweet Shops In Mumbai In 2020

by Pratiksha Acharya

I am of the firm belief that you don’t need to have a specific occasion to indulge in sweets. And why should you have a reason to binge on mithai anyway? They are made to be savoured and devoured. And with the festive season coming in, we have all the more reasons to eat sweets by the plateful. With so many sweet shops around, it can be difficult to figure out which ones make the good stuff and which ones are duds. So, we took it upon ourselves to look for the best sweet shops in Mumbai and this is the conclusive list that we came up with.

1. Brijwasi, Multiple Outlets

Brijwasi is the place to go to when the sweet cravings creep in. Besides a wide range of sweets, the stores also make snack items like Samosas that taste equally good. Sweet and savoury just go hand in hand, don’t they?

2. Jhama Sweets, Multiple Outlets

I have been visiting Jhama Sweets for as long as I can remember. And if there’s one mithai of theirs that always stands out for me, it’s their Motichoor Laddoo. Made with ghee, they melt-in-your-mouth and they taste so good that you won’t be able to stop one. Believe me, I am guilty of downing half a kg of it by myself.

A mix of sweet and spicy, you have to understand what I am talking about.
