Experience the enchanting melodies of André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in Abu Dhabi. Known for his captivating performances spanning classical masterpieces to show tunes, Rieu promises an unforgettable evening of music, romance, and celebration. Joined by special guest Emma Kok, this concert is set to be a magical experience not to be missed.

Yas Marina is back with its beloved “Movies at the Marina” event, offering movie enthusiasts a delightful outdoor cinema experience. From 23rd February to 19th March, guests can enjoy screenings of blockbuster classics such as The Notebook, The Little Mermaid, and Mamma Mia, among others. Attendees can unwind under the stars, indulge in tasty movie snacks, and partake in fun lawn games for a memorable cinematic experience.

3. Bassam Freiha Art Foundation

The Bassam Freiha Art Foundation (BFAF) unveils its inaugural exhibition, “Echoes of the Orient,” showcasing highlights from the private collection of His Excellency Bassam Said Freiha. Exploring Western perceptions of the Middle East through Orientalist art, the exhibition delves into themes of femininity and the interplay between reality and fantasy. Featuring works by Western and Arab artists and 19th-century Orientalist photographs, it offers a nuanced perspective on the Orientalist narrative.

4. SAL

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort (JSI) introduces its latest addition to the luxurious lineup with the arrival of SAL, an award-winning lifestyle experience, to the capital. Positioned on Saadiyat Island, SAL’s second location in the UAE promises an iconic sea-soaked ambience. Operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 12:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

6. Sheikh Mahmoud El-Tohamy

Experience the enchanting performance of renowned Inshad master Sheikh Mahmoud El-Tohamy, known as the ‘Sheikh of Egyptian chanters.’ In his “The Carpenter’s Daughters” presentation, he intertwines classical Arabic chanting with diverse musical cultures while preserving its traditional essence. This soulful evening features famous poems honouring the Prophet Muhammad from Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, and the Maghreb, alongside the captivating performance of “Aneen Al Asheq.”
